In 1974, the very first Ronald McDonald House was built with the simple premise that families shouldn’t have to worry about where to stay, how they will feed their family, or feel isolated when their child is in the hospital. We are here to ensure you don’t face this journey alone and can focus on what matters most – your child.
RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE: WASHINGTON REGIONAL, in Fayetteville, AR, is located on the 4th floor of Washington Regional’s Women and Infants Center. This location helps keep families nearby when their ill or injured child is in one of the hospital’s critical care units. Steps away, within the hospital, families will find a welcoming space and the friendly faces of our compassionate staff and dedicated volunteers.
All services are provided at no cost to families. Ronald McDonald House: Washington Regional, which opened in 2016, was the first in-hospital Ronald McDonald House in Arkansas. The 6,000+ square foot space includes the following amenities:
DAY SERVICES
Even if you aren’t staying with us overnight, if your child is hospitalized or receiving outpatient care at Washington Regional, you are welcome to visit during the day between 7:00 am and 11:00 pm. No reservation is required.
Registered daytime visitors may relax in the common spaces, freshen up with a shower, utilize our free laundry facilities, kitchen, coffee bar, and snacks. You can relax in the living room or dining room, and your kids can enjoy our indoor playroom.
Please note that standard health and safety protocols regarding contagious illnesses are in effect. Additionally, all guests must present a valid photo ID at check-in.
