Ronald McDonald House Arkansas & North Louisiana is seeking a compassionate and service-driven Family Services Associate to serve as the welcoming heart of our Little Rock House. In this role, you’ll support families with children receiving medical care by providing warm hospitality, administrative support, and a safe, comforting environment during some of life’s most challenging moments.
What You’ll Do
Welcome and assist guest families, visitors, volunteers, and donors with empathy and professionalism
Support family check-in/check-out, maintain accurate records, and ensure confidentiality
Help families navigate House resources, transportation, and community services
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and daily operations of the House
Assist with meal programs, family activities, and volunteer engagement
Provide administrative support, including data entry, phone coverage, and internal communication
What We’re Looking For
Experience or education in hospitality, social services, or a related field
Compassionate, adaptable, and organized with strong communication skills
Comfort working with diverse populations in a mission-driven environment
Basic Microsoft Office skills and willingness to learn new systems
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Strategic Partnerships & Events Lead is responsible for assisting the North Louisiana Mission Director in raising the annual operating budget of $650,000 while raising awareness of the new Ronald McDonald House: Shreveport-Bossier. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, enjoy engaging with individuals and groups, and confidently speak to audiences about our mission and purpose. They will advocate for the organization’s mission and encourage the community’s support of the families it serves. They will coordinate and manage volunteers (which are the heart of our programs), identify new stakeholders and donors, and represent the organization to a wide variety of groups. They will capture and produce creative content for social media to showcase the program and mission, while assisting with marketing and other fundraising efforts to further visibility in the region.
