POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Outreach & Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, training, managing, and supporting volunteers who assist with our various Central Arkansas programs, including the Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald House Family Room: UAMS, Ronald McDonald House: Baptist Health, as well as our annual special events and third-party fundraisers. They ensure that volunteers have meaningful experiences, feel highly valued, and that their skill sets are effectively matched to the needs of the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
· Enjoy interacting with and confidently speaking to audiences about the mission of Ronald McDonald House Arkansas & North Louisiana. Clearly communicating our brand, programs, and volunteer opportunities is key
· Represent Ronald McDonald House Arkansas & North Louisiana at community events.
· Work closely with senior management to create and continually evaluate needs for volunteer support across programs and special events.
· Identify and attract new volunteers through various channels, including community outreach, online platforms, and partnerships.
· Match volunteers with appropriate roles based on their skills and interests.
· Conduct volunteer interviews and appropriate screening to ensure suitability.
· Provide comprehensive training on Ronald McDonald House Arkansas & North Louisiana’s mission, values, policies, and procedures, utilization of the volunteer tracking system, as well as specific role-related tasks.
· Create and manage volunteer schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for programs and events.
· Implement volunteer appreciation programs to acknowledge their contributions.
· Survey volunteers regularly to determine satisfaction, gain insight into the experience, and create opportunities for new initiatives.
· Schedule and manage all volunteer staffing as directed.
· May occasionally be asked to travel to our other program sites for events or presentations.
· Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Enthusiasm for our brand and mission.
· Understand the impact of volunteers in our various programs and events
· Ability to interact professionally with external stakeholders, clearly communicate the needs of the organization both internally and externally and to maintain confidentiality.
· Ability to demonstrate excellent people skills, work independently and collaboratively
· Ability to organize workload, manage multiple priorities and projects, and meet deadlines.
· Ability to be flexible in working hours, to adapt, and adjust to changing work conditions and priorities.
· Proven experience in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
· Proficient in Canva, Adobe, Microsoft Office and ability to learn new platforms.
· Uphold and demonstrate the mission, values, and principles of Ronald McDonald House Arkansas & North Louisiana.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Strategic Partnerships & Events Lead is responsible for assisting the North Louisiana Mission Director in raising the annual operating budget of $650,000 while raising awareness of the new Ronald McDonald House: Shreveport-Bossier. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, enjoy engaging with individuals and groups, and confidently speak to audiences about our mission and purpose. They will advocate for the organization’s mission and encourage the community’s support of the families it serves. They will coordinate and manage volunteers (which are the heart of our programs), identify new stakeholders and donors, and represent the organization to a wide variety of groups. They will capture and produce creative content for social media to showcase the program and mission, while assisting with marketing and other fundraising efforts to further visibility in the region.
